Choosing a wedding celebrant is a Big Deal – capital B, capital D. By the time you reach the top of the aisle, you want to make sure that you really gel with each other and that you’re 100% on the same page when it comes to how you want your wedding ceremony to flow.
Before you choose your wedding celebrant, it’s really important to book a discovery call to get started on building that relationship and make sure they’re a good fit for you.
Now, the celebrant you speak to will already have lots of questions they want to ask you, but here are a few questions to help you prepare for that discovery call:
1. What do you charge?
2. What areas of the UK do you cover?
3. Why do you think celebrant-led weddings are special?
4. What is your process for creating a wedding ceremony?
5. What symbolic elements do you offer and are you willing to offer new and/or different ones?
6. How will you go about writing our script?
There are so many questions you can ask, of course, but these six are a good starting point and should help to get those conversation juices flowing.
